Interim Controller wanted
Our client is a $400M+ consumer products manufacturer. They are seeking an interim Controller for approximately 3 to 6 months. This role can lead to a full-time direct hire. The role is on-site 3 days per week and remote 2 days for non-local candidates. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Interim Controller position performs a variety of project-oriented tasks to support the accounting and financial needs of the company. This position is responsible for managing the month-end close process, maintaining accurate and complete financials, and serving as the primary interface with auditors and tax advisors, and providing leadership and skills development to direct reports. This role will communicate with others in a wide range of positions internal and external to the organization to gather and interpret information to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Experience:

- Must have manufacturing experience as a Controller or similar role of a company between 250M and 1B. Preferably consumer manufacturing
- Needs to be able to commutable to Philadelphia area 3 days per week. Our client would be OK with putting the right candidate up in a hotel for the 3 days if they were not local.
- Must have audit and tax experience.
